Last weekend we hosted an incredible group of runners and cyclists preparing for the 4MUS Muskathlon โ an event focused on raising awareness and funds for an important cause.
The weekend was filled with early mornings, training rides, recovery sessions, campfire conversations, and a shared purpose bigger than sport itself. It was inspiring to see people pushing themselves physically while making a difference in the lives of others.
If you would like to support the journey, get involved, or find out more about how you can be part of what they are doing, please visit their page and connect with the team.
A few weekends ago, we had a special helicopter fly-in with overseas guests arriving directly at the farm โ an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
Watching the helicopter come in over the bushveld while guests stepped out straight into nature was a reminder of how unique the Roaring Sky experience truly is. From wildlife sightings and sunsets to fireside dinners and peaceful mornings, it was a weekend filled with adventure and African hospitality.
Weโre excited for more fly-ins planned for the coming months.

Weโre looking forward to the school holidays at the end of June, and thereโs no better time to escape to the bushveld for a peaceful break away.

One of the hidden gems at Roaring Sky is our very own 2km Blue Trail โ the Schumbuzo Trail.
Named after one of our team members who knows the bush like the back of his hand, this scenic trail offers guests the opportunity to slow down, stretch their legs, and experience the beauty of the African bushveld up close.
The trail winds through natural bush, offering opportunities to spot wildlife tracks, birds, indigenous trees, and some of the smaller wonders of nature that are often missed when travelling by vehicle. Whether you enjoy a peaceful morning walk, an afternoon adventure with family, or simply want to reconnect with nature, the Schumbuzo Trail is a wonderful way to experience Roaring Sky.
So next time you visit, lace up your walking shoes and discover the sights, sounds, and stories waiting along the Schumbuzo Trail.
Just outside Dinokeng Big 5, Roaring Sky is a quiet bush lodge where days slow down and stars feel closer.
